The Sluiter Nation hosts a Top Ten Tuesday blog meme that I am joining in on today. The topic this week is on the top 10 things I could do without.
10. Snow- Yep, I said it. It's nice for the week before/after Christmas, but the rest of the time I wish Utah could get all of its precipitation thru rain.
9. Bills- Duh!
8. Toy clutter- Don't get me wrong, I want Brayden to have toys. I just wish that a toy fairy would come around every day at nap time and bed time and clean them all up.
7. Shipping fees- I don't shop online a lot, but it still irks me how much companies/people seem to be making on shipping.
6. Calories- Someone else posted this on their list, and I just had to steal it.
5. Anxiety- I don't think I was too anxious before I became a parent, but my anxiety levels have risen exponentially since. Which is hard because I want to just enjoy life and not feel the need to be a helicopter parent (more on this later).
4. Guilt- I'm sick of it. I know that most of the time I am doing the best I can. As for the rest of the time, absolutely no one on Earth today is perfect.
3. Tantrums- Brayden is having one as I type. I don't blame him, though. I know it's hard to be a toddler with a lack in both communication skills and logic.
2. Mommy wars- It's such a dumb name, but it's true. And I have been guilty of it way too much. I'm finally starting to realize it really doesn't matter though. Brayden is my priority and I just need to focus on him and not other peoples' parenting decisions. I've felt judged myself- for still nursing, for co-sleeping, during public tantrums, etc. and it sucks.
1. Smoking neighbors- When you have smoking neighbors in a condo situation, it really stinks.
