I saw this on another blog and just had to swipe the idea. I thought this was hilarious. At the same time, I do often feel this way. I know I am so grateful to be getting this education, but until I get my Masters degree in Library Science, my Bachelors will not be of much use. I like to tell people that I am getting my degree in learning how to read critically and discuss things that really don't always matter that much. I know that it does matter, though. Literature is such an important way of transmitting ideas and understanding this crazy world we live in. So even if it isn't worth much in the employment realm, it's worth the world to me.
