I know I haven't posted in awhile.
-We are both burned out with school, but just trying to finish our last classes. We cannot wait until May 2nd and then May 8th!!!
-I'm feeling pretty good. Slowing down on weight gain, which I am happy about. I definitely have a belly though.
-We were going to go to St. George this weekend with Nicki, Andy and Jackson as it is Spring Break this next week. However, it got cancelled when Andy got laid off from his job. We're hoping he can find something fast. We were going to leave today, so we decided to at least hang out today, which we are doing right now.
-Andy is helping us with our taxes as I write. We did our federal and are now working on our state. When we added all of our scholarschips and grants in, it said we owed like $60. However, right near the end, it said something about a recovery credit. Apparently, we get more from that stimulus package last year. It ends up that we get a small federal refund, which is good because apparently we owe even more to the state. We have never owed before! Darn scholarships and grants! JK- we are very grateful to be able to go to school, it's just weird to have to pay.
-The highlight of my week has been watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I know only a couple of people will appreciate my love for his show (Stephanie), but it has been awesome this week! Normally he is really funny, but this week he has apparently been really angry with the financial news network CNBC for failing to inform the general public of what is really going on with this financial crisis. One of the people from the network, Jim Cramer of the show Mad Money, took offense and finally appeared on his show last night. It was great! Stewart really was hard on him.
